Amman National School English Department strives to assist the students to achieve a high level of proficiency and control of the use of the English language, in the academic classroom. It also encourages the student to reach his/her full potential to enrich his/her learning experiences and expand his/her human dimensions in preparation for the post graduation and real life challenge.
Our goals are:
- nurture an enthusiasm for reading through a wide variety of texts through the different grade levels.
- enable students to become confident speakers able to articulate their thoughts.
- empower students to write accurately, expressing their ideas in a wide range of written forms .
- develop students' critical awareness of the world around them.
- foster an understanding of the spirituality, morality and cultural identity.
- prepare the students for the literacy demand of adult life
- give students the opportunity to be challenged and to meet their potential.
- provide a stimulating learning environment that is safe, well ordered and that celebrates achievements .
- deliver lessons that are carefully planned, and foster enthusiasm and enjoyment
